Reiki & Crystal Healing
Reiki is an energy healing method brought to us by Usui Mikao-sensei in Japan in the 1920s. Reiki practitioners hold their hands on or just above your body to work with your natural energy field to address energetic or other kinds of blockages to help facilitate physical and emotional healing. A wonderful thing about reiki is that it is the channeling of the universe’s natural energy field, so reiki can do no harm. As a complement to modern medicine, reiki can reduce stress, accelerate healing, and address issues with the balance of your chakras.
I am certified in traditional Usui Reiki Level II by reiki master teacher Cynde Meyer, as well as crystal healing by the Reiki Healing Association. I’m excited to combine the healing power of crystals with reiki healing and plan to start offering in-person and distant (Zoom) healing sessions starting as early as 2027. Reiki for People and Pets!
In addition to offering healing sessions for people, I can also give reiki healing to pets and other animals. I have a history of experience with animals, from pet-sitting, to volunteering in animal shelters, to working as a nurse in veterinary practices. All kinds of pets can benefit from reiki, especially ill, injured, or senior pets. I’m happy to work hands-on with your pets, or set up a distant reiki healing for pets who may be fearful or aggressive. Bringing this beautiful healing art to these beloved members of our families is the reason I’m currently working on my animal reiki certification through the Reiki Healing Association.
